Can I use LUNA MICROCARE® PATCHES after cleansing?

It is okay to apply the patches after toner or essence; however, we recommend attaching them on the bare face after cleansing and drying the area completely. Please be advised that LUNA MICROCARE® PATCHES microstructure dissolves in water which may weaken the strength of microstructure.

Why should I press on the patch multiple times after I attach it?

The active compounds are loaded in the hyaluronic acid-based microstructures of LUNA MICROCARE® PATCHES. You should therefore ensure the microstructures penetrate the skin’s top layer by pressing on the patch a few times. Avoid sliding the patch sideways as this could bend the microstructures laterally, hindering its full efficacy.

Is there a reason why the patch is recommended to be attached before sleep? Does it become less effective during the daytime?

No. You can use it regardless of the time of day. However, the microstructures are fully absorbed into the skin after a minimum of two hours. The actual time may differ depending on individual skin type, but anyone can benefit after two hours, when the active compounds are fully absorbed by the skin.

Is it safe to use other skin care products such as essences, creams, etc., after attaching the patch?

Yes, it is safe. The patch should be used on skin areas where focused care is needed. Normal skin care products on other parts of your skin can be used freely after the patch has been applied to clean dry skin in the area of focus.

What is the expiration time for the patch? How long is it viable for use after I open the pouch?

An unopened pouch is usable for up to three years. We recommend using it on the day you open the sanitised pouch. The microstructure is composed of a moisturising agent called hyaluronic acid, which can be dissolved or structurally weakened over time by absorbing the moisture in the air once you open the pouch.

Can the patch fall off while I sleep?

There may be some rare cases where this may happen, but generally the patches are designed to hold on to your skin firmly during sleep.

If I attach the patch on sensitive eye areas, will it leave redness or marks on the skin?

According to the clinical trials carried out by Dermatest GmbH (Germany), a certified clinical test institute, no skin irritability or objective skin stimulation abnormalities have been found on any of the test subjects. We recommend that you remove the patch after a minimum of two hours. Premature removal of patches may result in slight redness due to the needling effect, which will disappear within two hours.

Will the microstructures cause damage or pain while they penetrate the skin?

The microstructures are half the thickness of a human hair, about 30 micrometres in tip size and 350 or 500 micrometres long. They can penetrate the skin without causing any damage, so they are safe to use.

Are there any side effects such as the widening of hair follicles after the microstructures penetrate the skin?

Our skin’s regeneration is maximised when it is stimulated. In fact, microstructures utilise this phenomenon. Whenever micro-sized structures penetrate the skin membrane, the skin regenerates new cells and narrows the hair follicles. Therefore, this results in narrower, rather than wider, hair follicles and smoother skin.

How do I pause my account or skip my next order?
If you're going on vacation or need to take a break from your subscription for any reason, you can easily pause your account. From any page on lunamicrocare.com, click on the avatar icon in the top right-hand corner (next to the bag icon) to access your account. If you have an active subscription, it will appear under the 'Subscription' header down the left-hand side. From there, you can pause or cancel your account at any time.

How do I update my shipping and/or billing information?
You can update your shipping or billing information by visiting the 'Subscriptions' tab in your account on lunamicrocare.com.

When will my credit card or PayPal account be charged?
If you've setup a subscription-based account for any product, we'll charge your payment method immediately when you place your order. We'll then bill and ship your order every 28 days onwards to ensure your top-ups arrive on time each month (unless you elect otherwise, via your account - this is your custom journey).

How can I cancel my subscription?
